The Clarington Concert Band

The Rehearsal On June 20th  Will Be At The Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School

The Clarington Concert Band will participate in a short parade from the Orono Fair Grounds to the Orono Park, starting at 11:00am. Following the parade, the band will perform a 1 hour concert, starting at 12 Noon

Join us for an outdoor Summer concert with the residents at Kingsway Arms Seniors Residence at 65 Clarington Boulevard.

Port Hope Bandshell summer concert series, 7:00 pm Memorial Park. Tonight the ‘Clarington Concert Band’. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy a free concert.

To get to the Band Shell in Port Hope, Take Highway 401 East to the the second Exit Hwy 28 in Port Hope; Take Hwy 28 South to Walton Street (Hwy 2); Turn right (West) on Walton; Turn Left (South) off Walton to Queen Street. The Park is located on Queen Street.

Note that this concert in Orono is on Wednesday and start time is 7:00 PM sharp. The Clarington Concert Band is back again on the library lawns and in the event of rain, the concert will be in the Orono Town Hall.

Players are to bring MUSIC STANDS..

We are back again for the Annual Durham Agriculture Fair Parade in Orono. We will rendezvous with the parade wagon at the Orono Cemetery which is at the north end of Mill Street. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. but the band should meet at 9:30 to put the finishing touches to the decoration of the wagon.

Band members will meet 9:30 am at Church and Division Street to prepare the ParadeWagon

* Parade starts in Bowmanville at Church and Temperance St.
* Travels on Church Street, turning left (south) onto Scugog St.
* Turns East on King St.
* Turns South on Liberty St.
* Ends at Memorial Park (Liberty St. and Park St.)

Dress: Anything seasonal and colourful. Remember to dress warm and bring a music stand with wind clips.

The Ninth Annual Newcastle Santa Claus Parade will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2012 commencing at 5:30 pm. The parade begins in the west end of the village at the corner of Given Road and King Avenue West (Highway #2). It proceeds east on King Avenue through the village and ends at the corner of King Avenue East (Highway #2) and Arthur Street/Brookhouse Drive.

BRING MUSIC STANDS!!
DRESS: Anything festive and warm. Please bring stands and wind clips. Members should plan to be at the start of the parade around 4:30 to for last minute preparations to the float

The parade is Saturday, Nov. 23 at 10:30 a.m. The route will begin on Mill Street and turn onto Main Street, then take a left onto Station Street and a slight left onto Princess Street to end at the Orono fairgrounds.
